Experienced engravers
Practical knowledge built through decades of commercial, presentation and specialist engraving work.
Furnells combines experienced engravers, modern computer-controlled machinery and hands-on manufacturing to produce everything from one-off presentation pieces to repeat commercial work.
For nearly four decades, Furnells has built its reputation around commercial engraving, bespoke manufacture and the ability to tackle work that does not fit neatly into a catalogue.
Traditional engraving skill still matters, but so does having the right equipment. Furnells combines experienced people with computer-controlled and laser machinery, giving the workshop the flexibility to handle detailed one-offs, specialist materials and repeat production work.
That range is important. A commemorative plaque, a batch of industrial nameplates, an engraved bottle and a custom embossing die are very different jobs — but each depends on accurate interpretation of the brief, appropriate materials and controlled manufacture.
Everything is centred on the North London workshop, allowing Furnells to keep close control over production while working with customers across the UK.
The strongest part of Furnells is not one machine or one material. It is the ability to choose the right process for the job.

Not just engraving: plaques, signs, badges, nameplates, embossing dies and unusual one-off commissions.
